About SiFu Alan Paterson

SiFu Alan Paterson, the Head Instructor for Schools of Kung Fu UK, started his martial arts journey at just 9 years old, training in Judo and Jiu-jitsu. He discovered Wing Chun in 1998, and after extensive training in Hong Kong, he established his first school directly under SiFu Sergio in 2005. SiFu Alan later became the UK representative of the IWKA, an organisation led by SiFu Sergio. Achieving his 6th Technician Grade at the Eternal Spring Institute in Madeira under the guidance of SiFu Sergio Iadarola, SiFu Alan continues to inspire students across the UK. His leadership has been pivotal in the growth of the Schools of Kung Fu, influencing instructors like Nicholas Brace, Head Instructor of Schools of Kung Fu Portsmouth.
